Hole No.12, Par 5, 525 yds.
The tee shot hit from a 120 foot elevation requires you to hit a landing area between two large lakes and a well-placed bunker. Once you manage your tee shot, you have a choice; either go for the green in two, which requires a total carry of 200-plus yards over water, or lay up to a generous landing area followed by a short pitch shot to a narrow green guarded by a large bunker.
Smart golfers will use their 190-yard club from the teeing area and then their 175-club to the layup area; there is a lot more room away from the lake than can be seen. This will leave about 100-yards to the center of a bowled green. More birdies have been made this way then trying to hit a 200-yard carry over water to a shallow green!
